Jean-Sébastien David has been the President and CEO of NioBay Metals since October 2021. He previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Arianne Phosphate Inc., a company focused on the development of the Lac à Paul mining project in the Saguenay region of Québec. Prior to joining Arianne Phosphate Inc., Mr. David was Vice President, Sustainable Development at Osisko Mining Corporation from 2007 to 2012, where he contributed to obtaining construction and development permits for the Canadian Malartic project. His experience at Arianne Phosphate Inc. and Osisko allowed him to work extensively on project evaluations, consultations and negotiations with regulatory authorities and stakeholders, as well as on the development and implementation of sustainable development policies. Mr. David has held various positions related to mining, forestry, and environmental operations. After beginning his career at Nutrinor in 1993, he went on to work for IAMGOLD, Cambior, and Louisiana-Pacific. Mr. David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and a Master’s degree in Project Management from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.
Mr. Anthony Glavac has over 20 years of experience in financial reporting, including over 12 years in the mining industry. Since 2018, Mr. Glavac has served as Chief Financial Officer for Falco Resources Ltd. and previously served as Director, Financial Reporting and Internal Controls at Dynacor Gold Mines and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Alderon Iron Ore Corp. Prior to joining Alderon, Mr. Glavac spent 10 years at KPMG, working with both public and private companies, providing audit, taxation, strategic advisory and public offering services. Mr. Glavac is also involved with other public companies in the mining industry.
